Senior Director, Benefits & Global Mobility

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the planning, execution, compliance, communication and administration of the healthcare and wellness programs and/or financial benefit programs deployed at Lowe's. This includes responsibility for driving the fiscal reporting and financial controls of the benefit reward elements and utilizing analytics and other relevant market data to inform and recommend solutions to senior leadership for ongoing review and consideration. This role is critical to Lowe's as it ensures a competitive suite of benefits for the attraction and retention of the Lowe's employee base while balancing the financial demands of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Develop and drive benefits strategy aligned with the company's overall people and business objectives to appropriately engage and retain the workforce while balancing the financial and compliance elements.

Oversee the design, implementation, integration, communication, and administration of employee benefit programs, including health, wellness, retirement, insurance, and leave policies.

Manages healthcare,wellness, and financial benefits function leaders whose primary responsibilities include leading teams who provide vendor oversight, data analytics, compliance management, employee escalations, as well as ensuring the ongoing administration, satisfaction and fiscal oversight necessary to maintain comprehensive insurance and wellness solutions

Participates in external health and wellness initiatives to have a thorough understanding of alternative solutions and maintains an appropriate network of other large employers

Develop communication and engagement strategies that effectively explain benefit offerings to a geographically diverse workforce with tailored messaging for different employee segments (including hourly, salaried, and remote employees) using a mix of communication channels. Partner with internal communications and HR business partners to ensure consistent and engaging messaging around benefits, wellbeing, and retirement programs.

Works closely with benefit plan vendors, consultants, HR senior leadership, Legal, HR business partners, Communications, Technology and HR operations to ensure the successful delivery of the benefits solutions

Develops relevant materials for any internal cross functional teams that support benefits and wellness related decisions, as well as contractual matters related to benefits that may include healthcare and wellness benefits and/or retirement benefits

Evaluates statistical analysis and other relevant reporting related to the programs; analyzes market trends, design concepts, population health measures and other benchmarking data to recommend/maintain best-in-class solutions

Stays abreast of pertinent laws and compliance related matters and aligns activities and deliverables to ensure adherence

Ensures that employee benefits data with internal and external partners is accurate to ensure appropriate delivery of services and provide the ability to appropriately analyze and report

Ensure global mobility programs and immigration policies support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development goals while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Provides oversight of contractual relationships and manages new vendor intake and execution

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on emerging trends in total rewards, employee wellbeing, and global workforce planning.

Leads of team of direct and indirect reports with both hourly and salaried team members.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; MBA or other human resources related Master's Degree is preferred

5+ years of demonstrated experience leading & developing teams both with direct & indirect reports & across cross-functional or matrixed environments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals & fostering a high-performance culture.

Large scale retail industry experience is preferred, but not required

CEBS is preferred, but not required

Proven capability in core benefits program vendor selection and relationship management

Subject matter expert in benefits compliance requirements

Strong finanical/business acumen with operational excellence skills

Experience implementing change in a dynamic, complex, large scale environment

Aptitude for balancing multiple priorities with strong organization and prioritization capability

Exceptional ability to build consensus and buy-in across a wide range of constituents
