Senior DevOps/ Kubernetes Engineer

We're looking for a mid-senior level DevOps/Kubernetes engineer who is interested in working part-time with a US startup in the analytics sector. The primary responsibility will be to review, debug, and improve our existing DevOps and Kubernetes infrastructure, as well as help ensure that our deployment architecture follows best practices. You will work with our engineering team to troubleshoot issues, optimize deployment pipelines, and validate that our Kubernetes implementation and container orchestration are correctly configured. If you are passionate about production infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and debugging distributed systems, and are looking for a remote role with flexible hours, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster management, deployments, services, scaling, debugging pods)

• Experience with Docker containerization and container orchestration

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, infrastructure configuration, and production deployment workflows

• Experience with Unix/Linux environments, Git, and cloud or on-premise infrastructure

• Ability to review an existing DevOps/Kubernetes setup and identify architectural or configuration issues

• Experience debugging production issues in containerized or distributed environments

• Strong analytical, design, and troubleshooting/debugging skills

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and performance troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments

• Understanding of software engineering best practices and scalable infrastructure design

• Ability to work independently in a home office and doesn’t need hand holding
