Overview

Reach the Rest is a Christian non-profit committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by partnering with indigenous leaders for church planting, disciple-making, and humanitarian initiatives worldwide. We seek a seasoned and mission-driven Partnership Engagement & Major Gifts Officer to expand our network of donors and secure significant financial support for advancing our global initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship builder with an established donor network and a proven track record of securing significant funding for Great Commission-focused efforts, including church multiplication, disciple-making, and humanitarian programs. This role focuses on bringing new prospects, activating their networks, and establishing sustainable revenue streams.
Responsibilities

Donor Development and Engagement
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift prospects with a passion for global missions, church planting, and disciple-making.
• Leverage an existing network of high-capacity donors to secure significant gifts and create long-term partnerships.
• Develop new donor relationships by identifying and engaging individuals, foundations, and organizations aligned with Reach the Rest’s mission.
• Design personalized engagement plans for major donors to build meaningful relationships and inspire deeper investment.

Strategic Planning
• Develop and execute a comprehensive major gifts strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to align fundraising initiatives with organizational priorities and vision.
• Establish new streams of donor networks, focusing on untapped opportunities for high-impact giving.

Collaboration
• Work closely with the CEO, Development Team, and Global Strategists to align donor engagement with programmatic priorities.
• Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to create compelling materials and campaigns that resonate with potential donors.
• Represent Reach the Rest at key events, conferences, and gatherings to expand the organization’s visibility and donor base.

Stewardship and Reporting
• Ensure timely acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship of all major donors.
• Provide regular updates to donors on the impact of their contributions through detailed reports, stories, and other communication.
• Track donor engagement and outcomes in a CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications
• Faith Alignment: Strong alignment with Reach the Rest’s mission and values; an active, vibrant Christian faith and commitment to the Great Commission.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in major gifts fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant gifts (six- and seven-figure gifts preferred).
• Network: An established network of high-capacity donors with a passion for global missions, church planting, and humanitarian initiatives.
• Skills: Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, including the ability to inspire and engage donors.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for funding.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with global missions, church multiplication, and humanitarian initiatives.
• Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with donors and represent the organization.
Compensation

This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation based on experience. The benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
