This opportunity can be supported through our Plymouth Meeting PA office, Raleigh NC office, Greenville SC office, or as a remote employee. #LI-Remote The Role Wood is recruiting for a Senior Design Manager Process Engineer to join our Life Sciences (Biotechnology / Pharmaceuticals) team to develop life-changing and in many cases, life-saving solutions for our clients. This position will have the responsibility of managing our process engineering team including mentoring staff, forecasting work load, overseeing quality of all process deliverables, expanding the process team as we grow. This position will be responsible for collaborating with our Global Life Science teams in both Melbourne, Australia and Milan, Italy. While assisting in the development of the Life Sciences business in North America, this candidate will coordinate with all other engineering departments to provide sound design solutions for our clients. The Senior Lead Process Engineer must demonstrate experience in delivering projects for typical biopharma production processes (MAb, microbial, and vaccine), with experience in bulk manufacturing, fill/finish, or both. They must be capable of advancing engineering designs from a feasibility through schematic and preliminary design to detailed design completion. This role will be responsible for ownership of all process deliverables and will supervise a team of process engineers during the execution of that work.
