Senior Data Scientist - GenAI (Remote – US Only, Security Clearance Required)

About the Role: We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our cutting-edge AI platform team, developing next-generation generative AI and agentic frameworks. This role offers an opportunity to significantly shape the technical roadmap at a rapidly scaling defense technology company.
What You’ll Do:
• Architect and build agentic AI systems using state-of-the-art generative AI.
• Deploy deep learning-based solutions from ideation to production, directly impacting critical defense and government applications.
• Collaborate closely with defense/government stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions.
• Provide direct input into technical architecture decisions and platform evolution.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Hands-on AI/ML researchers or engineers with substantial experience building production-grade machine learning systems.
• Deep technical proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Candidates with a strong academic foundation (CS/Math/Stats from top-tier universities preferred).
• Track record of stable tenures (2+ years) demonstrating depth of technical expertise.
Essential Requirements:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 3+ years writing production-ready Python code.
• Experience deploying ML models into production environments.
• Deep learning expertise with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong familiarity with classical ML techniques and deep learning architectures, especially Transformer models.
Highly Desirable:
• Experience building and deploying RAG solutions.
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and libraries (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, FAISS).
• Practical experience developing generative AI-based agentic solutions.
• Expertise in NLP tasks such as text classification, summarization, entity extraction, and question-answering.
