If you’re ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.We’re seeking a Data Scientist to partner with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to optimize Payments performance and to grow our Payments product.What You’ll DoDesign and implement rigorous experiments to improve payment success ratesIdentify and quantify opportunities to improve and grow the product, and driving roadmaps with those insightsMeasure product success through setting and monitoring of northstar metrics, goal setting, and forecastingPartner with engineers to develop tools to identify optimization opportunities at scalePartner with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisionsQualifications5+ years industry experience and an advanced degree (PhD or MS) in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Computer Science, Economics) Experience with communicating the results of analyses to executives and cross-functional teams to influence strategy Expert in data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R), experience in schema design and dimensional data modeling a plusExpert in experimentation to drive data-informed decisionsExperience in technology, financial services and/or a high growth environment is advantageousEqual opportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
