Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk management goals. Utilize industry best practices and standards to design and implement efficient and effective data models. Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing data models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary modifications. Communicate and present data model findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and risk committees. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures related to data modeling and risk management. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to data modeling and risk management. Mentor and provide guidance to junior data modelers, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused team environment. Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration and usability of data models in various systems and applications. Continuously assess and improve data model processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure data quality and integrity. Act as a subject matter expert on data modeling and risk management, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and tools in data modeling and risk management. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to data modeling, escalating to management as necessary.
