As a Data Governance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in cultivating strong partnerships with Business Units and functional data domains to foster data ownership, advocate for meticulous data cataloging, and ensure data quality to propel our client’s cloud-based data and analytics roadmap. Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred) This is contract assignment that is expected to pay about $80-85/hour What You Will Do: • Cultivate an environment of data ownership, champion meticulous data cataloging, meticulously define data quality rules, and seed the ground for robust data stewardship. • Execute the roadmap for data enablement, ushering the widespread adoption of the Central Data Management vision. • Align strategic business objectives with the overarching Cloud Data Management (CDM) endeavors. • Be at the helm of capturing stakeholder requirements and orchestrating the seamless adoption of CDM initiatives. • Help guide data stewards as they craft comprehensive data catalogs, define quality benchmarks, and orchestrate operational workflows. • Lead the deployment of an efficient data certification framework. • Spearhead the drive towards automated data quality enhancements and streamlined metadata management. • Forge robust processes for enterprise data modeling and meticulously document the same. • Collaboratively cultivate an ecosystem that thrives on data-driven decision-making.
