About the Role This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a competitive salary, available to candidates residing in Texas. As a Senior Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for operating data entry devices, performing a variety of data entry duties, and contributing to the success of our health care organization. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks with moderate independence, using established procedures and guidelines Operate data entry devices and software applications, including AS400 and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook) Complete basic tasks without review, while seeking supervision and guidance for higher-level tasks Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in data entry work, ensuring high-quality results Work during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST), with flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends during peak periods (October - February) Participate in quarterly team meetings at our Fort Worth office (if commutable) Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience At least 1 year of experience in customer service Experience with AS400 and computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Outlook Ability to work during normal business hours, with flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends Residency in Texas, with a dedicated workspace that meets our telecommuting requirements Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: Previous experience in health care administration or a related field Familiarity with data management principles and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies To excel as a Senior Data Entry Clerk, you'll need: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to remain focused and productive in a repetitive task environment Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook Ability to adapt to new software applications and technologies Career Growth Opportunities At UnitedHealth Group, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills.
