Our goal is to proactively find new ways to improve and continuously transform into the type of company providing innovative information and communication technology services.Job Description:To strengthen our MusGKteers team in the Data Value Stream – B2B Analytics, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer.Our mission is to implement a future‑proof data warehouse (DWH) landscape within the One Data Ecosystem (ODE). To achieve this, we need to migrate the current architecture (ODW and ODL) to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In addition, new products and KPIs continuously generate new requirements to ensure that our B2B data remains up to date.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?Analyses complex data elements and systems, data flow, dependencies, and relationships in order to contribute to conceptual physical and logical data models.Designs, builds, implementation and maintain the database structures to support business needs including integration of vendor database solutions into data environment.Contributes to the development of the capacity planning function to properly identify needed hardware, software, database configuration / architecture to support application / business needs.Manages the life cycle of multiple database tools by enabling smooth upgrades and/or installation and support of new capabilities.Data munging, manipulation, cleansing and blending from multiple data sources and exposure to various data types and storage paradigms including data mining.Works with data to solve business problems and build and maintain the infrastructure to answer questions with data.Develops and manages scalable data processing platforms used for exploratory data analysis and real-time analytics.Oversees activities of the junior data engineers, ensuring proper execution of their duties and alignment with business vision and objectives.Qualifications:YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:possess strong expertise in cloud technologies (ideally Google Cloud Platform), including tools such as BigQuery, Dataform, BigLake, Vertex AI, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer/Airflow, and Dataprochave solid knowledge of Python and PySparkbring experience in designing and engineering DWH/BI solutions, including data modellingunderstand data historization concepts and can apply them effectivelyhave hands-on experience with DevOps practicesare familiar with CI/CD processes using GitLabcan work with UML for system and process modellinghave practical experience with agile delivery frameworks such as LeSS or Scrumdemonstrate a collaborative, agile mindset suitable for cross-functional, interdisciplinary teamsshow strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to recognize complex dependencies and communicate them clearlycan design and implement efficient processes for integrating and consolidating heterogeneous data sourcescommunicate confidently in English at a very good level (B2); German language skills are an advantagebring strong teamwork and communication skillshave experience working in intercultural or nearshore project environmentsare willing to travel to and within GermanyPOSSIBLE SPECIALIZATION / NICE TO HAVEexperience with meta-model–based frameworks (e.g., Innovator)skills in reporting and dashboarding with Microsoft Power BIknowledge of AI-based forecasting and predictive analyticsexperience contributing to end-to-end solution design for business requirementsAdditional Information:WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE US?We believe in balance between work and personal life.
