The Senior Data Engineer role at Clear Capital will involve working closely with product teams to build next-generation data products. Working alongside Software Engineers, Data Quality Analysts, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and ML Ops Engineers who, like you, are dedicated to building exceptional data products. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to assist with the development and implementation of systems leveraging structured and unstructured data to deliver data and data science solutions at scale. As Senior Data Engineer at Clear Capital, you are committed to enabling the best work of others on the team. You help yourself and your team to consistently “level up.” You think ahead to anticipate the needs of others and provide concise information for decision-making. What You Will Work On Design, develop, and maintain Extract Transform Load (ETL) data pipelines. Understand, operate, and improve legacy data pipelines that underpin our existing business operations. Provide direct support to Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Property Data Operations teams. Who We Are Looking For Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience focused on information technology and 7+ years of overall experience. 4+ years developing in Python Understanding of data warehouse, data lakes, and master data management approaches, ETL industry standards, and best practices Experience creating and maintaining scalable and robust AWS solutions Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and columnar databases (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake) Firm grasp of Linux, including BASH scripting Experience with Airflow, DBT Deep knowledge of core AWS services, especially AWS Glue, AWS Batch, RDS, EMR, EKS, Lambda, and Step Functions Experience with containerization and related technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) What You Can Expect Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $176,100 annually, depending on your location, experience, and qualifications. Additional compensation offerings include company profit-sharing bonus program, communication stipends, and referral bonuses.
