Key Responsibilities


Design, build, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, leveraging services such as Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements, ensuring that our data pipelines meet the needs of our business.
Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data.
Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost, staying up-to-date on the latest AWS advancements and best practices.
Develop and implement personalization algorithms using Python and Pydantic models, driving business growth and customer engagement.
Build and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases, ensuring data is properly stored and retrieved.
Utilize Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data, providing real-time insights to our business.


Essential Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in AWS native event-driven services.
Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security, ensuring that our data pipelines are robust and reliable.
Proficiency in Python and serverless technologies, with experience developing personalization algorithms using Pydantic models.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Amazon Kinesis, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases, providing a strong foundation in data storage and retrieval.
