About the Role As a Senior Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data architectures, pipelines, and systems that drive business insights and inform decision-making. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs, develop data solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop large-scale data architectures and pipelines to collect, process, and normalize data from various sources Create ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database frameworks, and develop tools for real-time and batch processing Collaborate with data science teams to integrate data and algorithms into automated processes Utilize cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure) to build scalable data pipelines and systems Develop strong data pipelines and dynamic systems using programming languages like Python Build data warehouses and data models to support data science and other internal clients Analyze current technology environments to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions Experiment with new tools and technologies to determine the best fit for business needs Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Senior Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics) 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing large-scale data architectures 5+ years of experience with SQL and database development 5+ years of experience with programming languages like Python Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure) Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications To take your career to the next level, you'll also benefit from: Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau) Knowledge of the healthcare industry and its data needs What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
