What will you be responsible for?
As a data analytics engineer, you will be responsible for building and curating innovative technical solutions that combine a variety of internal and external datasets. Your work will give users access to the data in a format that will be foundation of our actionable insights and machine learning models.
Who will you work with?
We are looking for a passionate data & analytics expert whos looking to build the next generation of data analytics solutions in collaboration with our amazing team of actuaries, analysts, and data scientists. You will also partner closely with our Technology organization to design and implement end-to-end data analytics solutions.
On any one day you might:
Design and develop data solutions that allow automated and self-serve consumption by our data partners
Embed yourself in a pod of actuaries and analysts to discuss business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
Team up with agile technology teams to deliver access to credible data
Collaborate with your peers to ideate on solutions, innovate on deliveries, and develop best in class processes
Design and implement internal process improvements, optimize data delivery, and create scalable datasets
Share your technical expertise with our analysts and actuaries to improve our overall data literacy
What does it take to be successful?
A true love for solving complex problems with data
Curiosity to better understand the business questions at hand and anticipate what comes next
Solid technical skills delivering data solutions in a variety of technologies (SQL, SAS, R, Python, etc.)
