Someone who opens Dune before any other tools in the morning, has strong opinions about DEX fee structures, and notices things in blockchain data before anyone asks them to look. You'll own the web3 analytics function at Trust Wallet — tracking competitors, mapping the ecosystem, and surfacing insights the product and leadership teams didn't know they needed.The role operates with significant autonomy within the data team. Proactive insight generation is the primary expectation, with ad hoc analytical requests as a secondary work-stream.What You'll Do:Own competitor intelligence across Trust Wallet's core verticals: swap & DEX aggregation, earn & staking, and wallet market share — tracking protocol metrics, user behavior, and market dynamics on a regular cadenceMonitor on-chain activity across EVM chains (BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and others) and identify trends relevant to Trust Wallet's product, growth, and strategyFollow the crypto ecosystem on X and translate market discourse and emerging narratives into concrete data questions worth answeringBuild dashboards and analyses that connect on-chain signals with Trust Wallet's product contextCollaborate with the internal data team to enrich internal metrics with ecosystem-level perspectiveBrief leadership on significant on-chain developments with clear, non-technical narrativeWhat We're Looking For:Must have4+ years of hands-on experience in crypto or web3 analyticsStrong SQL skills applied to raw blockchain dataHands-on experience with blockchain analytics platforms: Dune Analytics, Flipside Crypto, Nansen, Token Terminal, or similarSolid understanding of EVM chain mechanics; Solana/SVM experience is a strong plusAble to present examples of past analytical work during the interview processTracks market developments independently and surfaces relevant insights without promptingNice to havePython for data processing and automationFamiliarity with DEX mechanics, staking protocol economics, or bridge infrastructureExperience contributing to multiple protocols as a contractorExposure to indexing infrastructure — TheGraph, Alchemy, Infura or similarAdditional InformationThis is a global and fully remote role.
