Our supply chain plays a critical role in Dandy's dental operations, overseeing critical areas like manufacturing, logistics/procurement, on-time measurement, product feature enhancement for better quality, and capacity/utilization optimization. In this dynamic, cross-functional role, you'll have the freedom to independently harness data expertise to build products and drive recommendations that propel Dandy to become the top dental lab in the industry.Your responsibilities/opportunitiesBuild production models to automate and optimize decision processes within our manufacturing facilitiesDrive performance within Supply Chain & Operations through experimentation and simulation modelingDevelop and share insights that influence the various supply teams and partner functions, such as operations and product.Define the data language (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) within Supply Chain & Operations to reduce ambiguity and drive accountabilityActively uplevel the Data organization through mentoring other analystsTravel of up to 15% is required in this roleAbout you:6+ years of experience working in data science and analytics, ideally within supply chain, manufacturing, or operations functionsBA/BS in a quantitative field such as computer science, operations research, statistics, engineering or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with an applied background in dataExcellent SQL and Python skillsStrong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and leadStrong senses of velocity, autonomy, and ownership Strong critical thinking & problem solving skillsBonus points:Have hands on-experience embedded in operations-heavy teamsFamiliarity with generative AI conceptsInterest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where we’re still working out some of the basicsStrong customer empathy, particularly for dentistsExperience with Hex, Dagster, and DBTFor full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate.
