Job Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the business intelligence strategy and development of data modeling/analytics services used to mine applications for knowledge and information that enhance business processes. This role offers high visibility and excellent scope for personal development and growth, as you'll interact with multiple functions and levels within the organization. You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse business systems, technologies, and processing environments, and contribute to the development of data analytics solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities


Design, develop, and support data analytics using BI solutions (PowerBI preferred), self-service models, and visualization tools
Develop, publish, schedule reports, enhance data models, and dashboards to meet business requirements
Integrate PowerBI reports into other applications using embedded services or API automation
Work with other analysts and data engineers to identify and understand source data systems and business requirements for solutions delivery
Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently. Analyze data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making
Understand business requirements and choose a data model that best fits user needs, customizing when needed
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to data models
Identify research questions, problem-solve using data analysis, and communicate the results to various stakeholders


Candidate Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, System Analysis, Business, or equivalent
A minimum of 6 years' experience in working with data, diverse business systems, technologies, and processing environments
Advanced Excel skills (power query, conditional formatting, advanced charting, macros)
Experience in working with BI Tools – PowerBI preferred
VBA, DAX, or programming knowledge preferred
Knowledge of Oracle HCM, Netsuite, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow will be an added advantage
