Key Responsibilities Threat Intelligence and Detection: Monitor threat intelligence sources to guide detection, build detection logic for attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures, and assess the environment against these threats. Incident Response: Develop and implement triage and response plans for containment, mitigation, and recovery, and work with system and business teams to ensure effective incident response. Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes and technologies to enhance detection, containment, mitigation, and recovery, and collaborate with risk teams to identify gaps and evolve security. Collaboration and Advocacy: Work with stakeholders and peers to advocate security best practices, provide metrics and reporting as necessary, and conduct assessments and escalate issues as required. Forensics and Compliance: Collaborate with legal teams to conduct forensics and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (4+ years of experience). Technical Skills: Knowledge, skills, and abilities to analyze network packets, network activity, and event logs, and experience with detection and response processes and technologies. Certifications: One or more of the following certifications is preferred: CISSP, Security+, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, or CISM. Preferred Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on threat intelligence, detection, and response. Leadership: Experience in leading or contributing to incident response teams, and working with stakeholders to drive security initiatives. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
