Job Overview This is a full-time Senior Customer Service Representative position that offers the flexibility of working remotely if you are located in the Central or Mountain Time Zone. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in reviewing and researching incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, navigating multiple computer systems, and collaborating with providers to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Your work will directly contribute to improving health outcomes and enhancing the overall customer experience. Primary Responsibilities Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers (doctors, clinics, etc.) by navigating multiple computer systems and platforms, verifying the data/information necessary for processing, such as pricing, prior authorizations, and applicable benefits. Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues, documenting required information in computer systems with precision and accuracy. Communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding and empathy, reflecting arenaflex's commitment to customer-centric care. Qualifications Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age or older Working knowledge of computers and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday, with flexibility for occasional overtime or weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as primary job tools Healthcare experience, which would be a significant asset in understanding the nuances of healthcare claims and customer needs Telecommuting Requirements To work remotely with arenaflex, you must: Reside within the Central or Mountain Time Zone Have the ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure Establish a dedicated work area that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Ensure your location can receive a high-speed internet connection approved by arenaflex Soft Skills To excel in this role, you should possess: The ability to de-escalate calls, listen to customer needs, and respond appropriately with compassion and empathy Excellent multi-tasking skills for extended periods, including managing calls while navigating multiple computer systems The ability to remain organized, focused, and productive on highly detailed, repetitive tasks Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently research issues using multiple information sources Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
