At blithequark, we are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes. **Job Summary** As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for reviewing and researching incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, navigating multiple computer systems and platforms, and verifying the data/information necessary for processing. You will also communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to de-escalate calls, and compassion and empathy will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Responsibilities** * Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers by navigating multiple computer systems and platforms and verifies the data/information necessary for processing (e.g., pricing, prior authorizations, applicable benefits) * Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems * Communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding * Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance * Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge * Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve processes **Requirements** * High School Diploma/GED * Must be 18 years of age or older * Working knowledge with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications * Ability to work any shift between the hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST from Monday – Friday, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need **Preferred Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools * Health care experience **Telecommuting Requirements** * Reside within the Central OR Mountain Time Zone * Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive a blithequark-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Soft Skills** * Ability to de-escalate calls, listen to customer needs, and respond appropriately with compassion and empathy * Ability to multi-task for extended periods of time, including managing calls while also navigating multiple computer systems * Ability to remain organized, focused, and productive on highly detailed repetitive tasks * Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently research issues using multiple information sources **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rate: $16.54 – $32.55 per hour (Colorado Residents Only) * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Incentive and recognition programs * Equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for career growth and professional development **Work Environment and Culture** * blithequark is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same * Collaborative and supportive team culture * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
