What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, write, and publish materials to support Duke Health's consumer marketing efforts on various platforms
- Act as lead editor for marketing content for assigned service lines
- Coordinate with team colleagues to optimize content for SEM, SEO, social media, and user experience
- Oversee editing and proofing of all content before publishing
- Use project management skills and a ticketing system to manage the ongoing workflow of content requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong writing skills, excellent grammar, and spelling skills
- Experience writing health/medical information for a lay population
- Experience working in content management systems
- Experience with project management, time management, prioritizing, organizing, researching, creative thinking, and problem-solving
- Proficiency in a second language is a plus
