Senior Content Strategist, Education

The Senior Education Content Strategist will play a key role in shaping the educational content that drives these outcomes, helping thousands of people every day. Reporting to the Director of Content and Education, you will set and execute content strategies across our digital products, website, and marketing channels, ensuring that our resources are not only medically authoritative, but inspiring and actionable. What you'll accomplish • Directly impact the health, mindset, confidence, and outcomes of Hinge Health members by producing educational content that explains pain, supports behavior change, and drives engagement. • Create content that delivers trusted, actionable knowledge by collaborating with the clinical care team: researching, interviewing, and synthesizing medical perspectives to help members understand and take charge of their health. • Elevate the company’s brand as a trusted authority in MSK health and more with a data-driven content strategy to produce best-in-class SEO/AEO educational content that also drives business results. • Ideate and innovate formats, narratives, and delivery of education: in the app, on the website, or through interactive, rich media experiences. • Drive engagement and member acquisition by leveraging education as a strategic tool in integrated marketing campaigns. Essential job duties & responsibilities • Pitch, write, edit, and produce educational articles and other content types across Hinge Health’s app, programs, website, and marketing programs. • Craft and edit content using an empowering and approachable tone, translating complex medical information into actionable guidance. Coordinate with staff clinicians for content development, subject matter interviews, and rigorous medical review processes. • Manage and mentor a network of freelance writers and clinical contributors, assigning work, editing drafts, and maintaining consistency with Hinge Health’s brand voice and editorial standards. • Leverage and experiment with AI tools to continually innovate and scale content creation, while ensuring all outputs remain clinically accurate, high-quality, and aligned with brand voice and editorial standards. • Analyze performance metrics to inform content updates, optimization strategies, and editorial planning, collaborating with product and marketing teams. • Develop member storytelling initiatives that demonstrate the impact of Hinge Health, driving lead generation, and member acquisition and engagement, and other key business goals. Basic qualifications • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital and/or consumer health health content strategy, writing, and editorial, with a strong portfolio of health content for consumer audiences. • Demonstrated experience in SEO/AEO content creation and optimization. • Ability to translate scientific or technical information into accessible, engaging, and actionable materials for non-expert audiences. • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills; meticulous attention to detail and editorial consistency. • Experience managing content projects from concept through launch, using content management and project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, CMS platforms). • Experience managing freelance contributors. • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage your own workload to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time • Experience navigating high-growth, fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications • Understanding of musculoskeletal health, pain science, physical therapy, or the biopsychosocial approach to care. • Experience developing multimedia educational assets, such as video, audio, interactive modules, infographics. • Familiarity with educational technologies and innovative approaches to digital learning.
