Must have an exceptional eye for proportion, form, color, surfacing, and lighting; plus, the skills to accurately execute concepts for a variety of genres and styles. Be able to create accurate, inspirational concepts that are to be used as blueprints for the 3D Artists. Be instrumental in empowering the Art Director by creating visual solutions that help to align and clarify goals. Create world-class visual solutions while maintaining momentum and flexibility. Must be able to visualize solutions quickly with thought and expertise. Continuously ideate designs of characters, creatures, environments, weapons, and props in the style chosen by the Art Director. Create additional working drawings, as needed, during all phases of production. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Illustration, Entertainment Design or Industrial Design. Graduates of conceptual design focused institutions will be seriously considered. 5+ years of experience in creating concept designs, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Concept Designer in a game studio, film studio, or other entertainment production studios that require excellent conceptual design prowess and process. A portfolio that demonstrates your thought process and skills. Expertise in the tools used in concept development, both analog and digital. Nice to Have:Proactive and self-accountable. Desire and ability to inspire/motivate others through design.
