Senior Complex Commercial General Liability Claims Specialist | Remote

Our client, an "A" rated insurance carrier, is seeking to add a skilled Senior Complex Commercial General Liability Claims Specialist to their California team. Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve a variety of Commercial General Liability and Excess claims.
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis and determine liability and damages.
• Review and interpret insurance policies, endorsements, and applicable legal statutes.
• Manage claims through all phases from initial notice to final resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with defense counsel, medical providers, vendors, and insureds.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the claim system, in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including policyholders, brokers, and attorneys.

Requirements:

• 5 - 10+ years of experience handling complex Commercial General Liability claims.
• Experience handling Excess coverage claims is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policy language, coverage analysis, and legal concepts.
• Experience with litigation management is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in claim systems and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor Degree strongly desired.

Salary/Benefits:

• $125,000 to $150,000+ annual base salary plus lucrative bonus plan
