Overview:
This position will be primarily focused on AWS, Cloud Systems Administration and involved in the design, implementation, and maintaining of secure systems in a mixed Linux, Windows environment. This position will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new and existing requirements are being met.
What you will do:

Design, implement, and maintain secure systems and networks in a mixed Windows, Linux development environments in a mixture of on-prem, AWS and Azure
Develop and implement security measures, policies, and procedures to protect systems and networks against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents according to industry best practices
Monitor and analyze security logs and events, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and organizational security policies
Automate routine tasks using the right tool for the job whether that’s an automation platform or scripts
Have an eye for details, whether that be contracts, costs, day to day work
Experience of working in a role-based organization and liaising with all the different functional teams to get the job done
Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving security posture
Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, as needed
Resolve any system-related problems that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.

What we are looking for:

10+ years of experience working with the AWS platform
Expert in both Windows and Linux system administration in an Enterprise environment
Exceptional network trouble shooting ability
A self-starter, can work solo or as part of a large geographically spread team
Experienced with all facets of life working in an Enterprise sized company
Someone who can bring the benefit of their experience and knowledge to the team to help us succeed
