Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect- Remote

Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect Contract Role Location: Seattle, Washington (Remote Available, U.S. Based) We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our LPE team. This is a hands-on contract role where you will lead architecture design, implement cutting-edge cloud solutions, and mentor engineersall while ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency in our cloud infrastructure. Roles and Responsibilities • Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure solutions with strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Lead architecture discussions and drive cloud-native best practices across teams. • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep and related tooling. • Optimize infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business needs. • Ensure operational excellence with strong focus on monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Microsoft-aligned tools. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Requirements • 10+ years of IT/Cloud experience with deep hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise. • Strong proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration. • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Azure Bicep. • Proven ability to optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance. • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform). • Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring and observability tools. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
