Senior Business Transactions Attorney (Remote-Friendly | Up to $250K + Bonus + Origination %) Katy, Texas-Based Firm | Remote Work | Up to $250K + Bonus + Origination Fees Are you a seasoned business attorney with at least 10 years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and commercial transactions? We’re a growing 8-lawyer boutique firm based in Katy, Texas, looking for a sharp, business-minded attorney to join our team. You’ll be called upon to do a variety of work, from formation and capital raises to mergers, acquisitions, and day-to-day contract work. While this is a remote position, applicants must be licensed and reside in Texas, but you’ll be part of a close-knit, high-performing team that values quality, collaboration, and practical solutions. About the Role: You will support and lead clients through a wide range of transactions, including: • Entity formation and structuring • Preparation of governing documents • Private equity investments and capital raises • Asset purchases, mergers, and acquisitions • Commercial contract drafting and negotiation You’ll also advise businesses on daily operational matters and draft contracts such as: • Employment agreements and handbooks • Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements • Non-competes and restrictive covenants • Vendor, customer, and service agreements Requirements: • Licensed to practice law in Texas • 10+ years of relevant experience in business transactions and contracts • Comfortable working independently with sophisticated clients and deal structures • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills • Business-savvy with a solutions-oriented mindset • Strong organizational and time management skills • Tech-savvy and able to thrive in a remote work environment Compensation & Benefits: • Up to $250,000 base salary, commensurate with experience and portable work • Annual performance bonus • Origination fee compensation • Health insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Flexible, remote work structure Why Work With Us?
