We're a team of professionals who love clean books, efficient processes, and clients who value precision. Our mission is simple: deliver impeccable, personalized financials while building long-term, trusted partnerships.

We offer an alternative to corporate accounting environments, no micromanagement, no bureaucracy, and no grind. Just meaningful work with a collaborative team that values autonomy, excellence, and mutual growth.

Position Summary

In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients, oversee the full monthly close process, conduct quality control reviews, lead client-facing meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement within our operations.

If you're a confident problem-solver, skilled in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software, and excited to provide advisory-level insight while working remotely within a supportive team, this role is for you.

• Reconcile all Balance Sheet / Statement of Financial Position accounts monthly, including bank, credit card, loan, prepaid, fixed asset, and liability accounts
• Process and allocate complex payrolls, benefits, and payroll accruals
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Income Statement or P&L with Statement of Activities)
• Conduct financial review meetings with clients via Zoom
• Provide advisory insights, answer client questions, and support their decision-making

Quality Control & Oversight
• Review the work of junior bookkeepers for completeness and accuracy
• Troubleshoot errors and identify root causes before escalating issues
• Maintain and improve QC checklists, reports, and documentation
• Guide cleanups, onboarding processes, and ongoing account health

Team Collaboration & Process Improvement
• Train, mentor, and provide feedback to junior staff
• Contribute to workflow documentation, SOP updates, and internal training
• Recommend and implement process enhancements and tool efficiencies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet deadlines and client goals

• Experience working at a bookkeeping or accounting firm with multiple clients in a variety of accounting software
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and payroll
• Confident, proactive communicator who can manage client relationships
• Self-starter who enjoys solving puzzles and recommending best practices

• Supportive, collaborative team culture with growth opportunities
• No micromanagement, just accountability and respect
• High-impact work with mission-driven clients
