Ā Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple entities.
Ā Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Ā Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ā Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Ā Ensure adherence to GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
Ā Assist in the formulation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Ā Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
Ā Collaborate with external auditors during audit processes.
Ā Implement and uphold internal controls to protect company assets.
Ā Aid in the preparation of tax returns and various regulatory submissions.
Ā Provide financial analysis and support for special projects as required.
Required Skills
Ā Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ā Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
Ā Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
Ā Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Ā Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
Ā Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within the construction services domain.
Ā Knowledge of owner financial reporting is a plus.
