Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an experienced BIM Lead to support hyperscale Data Center projects. The role involves close collaboration with AECOM’s global BIM team, serving as the client point of contact for model coordination, file management, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate excels in dynamic, collaborative environments and is adept at managing evolving project requirements.This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US were AECOM has an office.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for providing leadership and direction to assigned project BIM Managers across U.S. Data Center Projects.Responsible for upholding AECOM and client standards across U.S. Data Center Projects.Oversees the creation and management of BIM models for ACS and MEP systems for data center projects.Maintains BIM data formats, templates, libraries, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance with project standards.Acts as point of escalation for project BIM issues and ensures client BIM requests are properly evaluated and estimates level of effort.Oversees BIM data integrity, ensure adherence to client requirements, and drive continuous improvement across digital workflows.Serves as Technical Quality Reviewer for BIM deliverables for U.S. Data Center Projects.Performs complex assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms and complex systems including Revit software to achieve set results and deadlines.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience in CAD/BIM drafting with at least 3 years of experience in BIM management for complex building types or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and NavisworksStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsCreative problem solver with strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsHighly motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Data Center experience preferredFamiliarity with data center design criteria and industry standardsAdditional InformationSponsorship for US Employment Authorization is not available for this roleRelocation assistance is not available for this roleAbout AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
