Job Description • Design and develop data models, reports and dashboards for internal business partners with an emphasis on financial and accounting reporting. • Write advanced SQL queries for ELT/data warehousing/Business Intelligence • Design and build financial Power BI interactive dashboards and paginated reporting. • Create complex calculations using DAX/MDX language. • Data transformation and Data Analytics Documentation. • Collaboration and leadership skills to drive projects. • Actively participate in weekly meetings with project managers and business partners. • Promote use of new metrics and data visualization tools/techniques, such as Sigma Self Service Reporting • Perform ad-hoc queries/reports to provide support for special initiatives and business unit needs. • Follow best practices and standards around data governance, security and privacy. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment coordinating multiple projects. • Effective software development life cycle management skills • Leverage tools like Fivetran, DBT, Snowflake, Power BI, SQL and Python to drive ETL, data modeling and analytics. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • 7+ years of experience of coding complex SQL data models • HS Diploma or GED required Preferred Requirements: • 7+ years of experience building advanced financial Power BI dashboards • Strong domain knowledge in Finance and Accounting • Bachelor or advanced degree in a related field • 7+ years of professional experience with Power BI, Report Builder, DAX • 7+ years of providing analytical insights and developing summary decks to senior leadership. • 7+ years of experience designing and building data models for reporting and self-service analytics • Advanced understanding of data modeling, data warehousing and reporting concepts - DBT experience a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated analytical ability • Creative problem-solving skills • Advanced use of spreadsheets, graphing, and presentations with a working knowledge of financial, sales and operations models • Strong communications skills and ability to collaborate with a team • Able to manage multiple projects and pivot when needed • 7+ years of experience utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma etc. • Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Python, Fivetran, API and subscription analytics would be a big plus • Knowledge of Sigma or other Self Service tool a plus. • Knowledge of Heroku Postgres, Heroku Connect, NetSuite and Salesforce highly preferred. Additional Information DOE, salary $110K - $135K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
