The Airbnb for Real Estate team's mission is making these apartment homes more accessible for hosting on Airbnb. We do this by working with and supporting the owners, operators, and residents of these apartment homes. We also support professional hosts who partner with real estate operators to offer host stays in otherwise unutilized space. Responsibilities • Design, build and launch APIs and integrations with our internal and external partners • Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Product, Program, Design and Engineers to deliver high quality products • Provide input in team roadmap and technical direction • Mentor team members who have less experience Requirements • BS or MS in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of relevant hands-on software development experience • Experience working with one or more backend server languages (Java, Kotlin preferred), and expertise in popular storage systems such as relational databases, noSQL and caching • Strong coding abilities and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications • Experience architecting, building, and maintaining highly available services in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) • Familiarity with patterns, libraries and frameworks for building and testing services, and service-to-service communication • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within and across teams and functions at Airbnb Benefits • Base pay range of $191,000 - $223,000 USD • Bonus eligibility • Equity • Benefits • Employee Travel Credits Apply tot his job
