Senior Back End Engineer (Remote - Brazil)

LOCATION: Remotely from anywhere in Brazil
TEAM: Dock & Yard WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Node.js
Design and maintain data structures on relational databases
Build and optimize REST APIs that seamlessly connect our computer vision pipeline with customers
Refactor and improve our Node.js codebase, enhancing infrastructure and deployment processes
Build components, define JSON schemas, write REST APIs, refactor code, help us improve our infrastructure.
Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong unit and integration testing practices
Work closely with other engineers to build, improve, and scale our services. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Python and Node.js
Advanced English skills, including speaking, as will be joining an international team
Expertise in writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, backed by tests
Experience developing and deploying REST APIs, with the ability to collaborate closely with frontend developers on API design
Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambdas, S3, etc.) and Postgres. Additional Information
