Senior Back-End Engineer (PHP)

We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior Backend Engineer to join our squad at Kilo Health , working on our fast-growing e-commerce brands. You’ll help build and scale the backend systems behind our global health and wellness marketplace — from seamless checkout experiences to robust infrastructure that powers millions of users worldwide. Get ready to Design, build and operate health tech services that are used by millions of customers Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with frontend and mobile engineers, product managers and UX designers Work autonomously with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s and project’s needs Share your knowledge with other engineers and be part of our community Write clean code that serves as an example to others We expect you to Have at least 3+ years of experience working with PHP and Laravel (Symfony works too) Have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Have experience writing unit and integration tests (TDD experience would be a bonus) Experience in Cloud Infrastructure is a plus Have a solid understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns Be a good communicator that loves sharing your experience with others Have great English & Lithuanian skills Have Experience in TypeScript or Golang (it's a plus) Salary Gross salary range is 5200 - 6300 EUR/month. Location We have plenty of amazing workspaces you can choose from: our awesome headquarters in Vilnius , and super cool hubs in Kaunas , Klaipėda, and Riga ! For Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote. Meanwhile, in Kaunas: onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role.
