About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced AWS Migration Engineer to lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, networking, and cloud architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement end-to-end AWS migration strategiesLead complex migration projects from planning to executionOptimize existing infrastructure for cloud environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitionsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersImplement and manage secure, scalable network architectures in AWSRequired Skills and Qualifications5+ years of experience in cloud migrations, with a focus on AWSDeep knowledge of AWS migration services (e.g., AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Server Migration Service)Strong understanding of networking concepts and implementations in AWS, including:VPN and AWS Direct ConnectVPC peering and AWS Transit Gateway Network Address Translation (NAT)Route tables and subnetsSecurity Groups and Network Access Control Lists (NACLs)Expertise in a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to:Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKSStorage: S3, EBS, EFSDatabase: RDS, DynamoDB, AuroraNetworking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFrontSecurity: IAM, AWS WAF, AWS ShieldManagement: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS ConfigExperience with AWS Dedicated Hosts and EC2 Dedicated InstancesProficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with Windows and Linux operating systemsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsWorking knowledge of configuration management tool Ansible.Preferred QualificationsExperience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with database migration techniques and tools (e.g., AWS Database Migration Service)Understanding of security best practices in cloud environmentsExperience with hybrid cloud architecturesFamiliarity with AWS Organizations and multi-account strategiesGood to have Citrix, Azure and SQL knowledge.
