Job Summary We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer to develop and implement data solutions on the AWS Cloud. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS, SQL, S3 Buckets, Glue, PySpark, ETL pipeline creation, and EDW models. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement data solutions on the AWS Cloud, working closely with various teams to drive business growth and innovation. Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data quality, performance, and availability. Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Redshift. Work with SQL, PySpark, and Scala to design and implement data models, data governance, and data architecture. Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, ensuring high performance and data quality. Develop and maintain technical documentation for data solutions and architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 6 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years of experience as a data engineer. Expert-level skills in SQL, AWS Glue, PySpark, and ETL pipeline creation. Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Lambda. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with data warehousing and data governance. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud. Skills and Competencies Programming languages: Python, Scala, SQL.
