Senior Automation Tester( Remote) Roles and Responsibilities : • Candidate should be able to work as Senior Automation Tester/lead. • Candidate should be able to write UI and API automation scripts and able to debug and fix the scripts if there are any issues. • Co-ordination between onsite and offshore. • Communicate with customer and business. • Candidate should be responsible for the Primary Releases. • Candidate should be able to coach Junior- and Intermediate-level Scrum Testers as needed. • Checking for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance. • Participating in design and architectural discussions. • Performing high-class debugging Qualification/Skillset: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience. • 9 + years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems. • Excellent programming skills in JAVA / JavaScript • Expertise in Writing, Enhancing and Executing automated scripts for test cases using Selenium WebDriver • Experience in Data Automation • Experience in Webservice Automation (ReadyAPI / SOAPUI). • Extensive Experience in Object Identification using XPath or other object locators. • Good Experience in Unit Test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG and build tool like Maven. • Experience in BDD Automation using Cucumber. • Experience in version control tool like SVN/GitHub. Experience in CI tool like Jenkins/Bamboo. • Good Communication Skill. Must have Skills: Java/JavaScript programming. Test script/test library creation. Rally or Atlassian suite or Quality Center. Soap UI or Ready API Automation. Selenium WebDriver / Mocha. Desired Skillset Bobcat, Cucumber (nice to have) Work Authorization • Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
