JOB SUMMARY:

Fanatics Corporate Audit and Risk Management are positioned as collaborative risk partners to provide independent assurance and proactive advisory engagements. Each of these efforts is designed to provide unique risk insights and recommendations for

improving the organization’s control environment in support of Fanatics’ strategic plan.

The Senior Auditor – Technology will play a key role in helping build the Internal Audit function and ensure processes and controls are robust and scalable as the company continues to grow. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit, Technology, this role will assist with the company’s risk assessment and controls activities, including audit planning and execution, risk management, operational reviews, and compliance.

The Senior Auditor – Technology will collaborate with our business partners, external auditors, and executive leadership as well as co-sourced consultants to accomplish audits following our audit plan timeline.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the development and execution of audit projects from all phases including planning, designing, and executing test procedures, and documenting results in a manner that effectively communicates issues and risks.

• Execute audit projects according to the Corporate Audit handbook and IIA professional standards.

• Interpret the significance of audit issues, recommend practical solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders on remediation.

• Track and validate issues identified in the technology space and monitor until remediation.

• Assist in audit team initiatives such as process improvements and playbook design.

• Build strong working relationships and trust with business partners across the organization by providing meaningful insight and tools to help them mitigate risks and execute controls.

• Periodically travel as needed (approximately 15%).

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data science, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience in audit, risk management, and/or technical operational roles.

• Professional certifications such as CISA (preferred) and CISSP or CIPT (a plus).

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Requires a strong understanding of key technology risks and information system controls including but not limited to information security, infrastructure, tech operations, software development and data protection.

• Audit experience of various cloud environments and supporting technologies, multiple operating system and database platforms and Oracle ERP.

• Possess strong analytical problem-solving skills and demonstrate intellectual curiosity and professional skepticism.

• Able to be strategic when shaping approaches to effectively assess risk.

• Requires excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner and is candid and forthright in communicating issues, concerns, and audit activities to all levels of management.

• Ability to facilitate sensitive investigations with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

• Highly motivated and committed to learning and progressing.

• Experience with auditing leveraging the use of data analysis tools is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $142,000 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
