Senior Associate of Corporate Strategy and Investments - Remote (Family Office)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy and Investments to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the family's investments and corporate development activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the family leadership team to provide guidance and leadership to the family office, ensuring the continued success of their legacy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Strategy: Collaborate with the family leadership and executive team to develop and refine the long-term corporate strategy for the family office.
2. Investment Management: Oversee the management of the family's investment portfolio, including both traditional and alternative assets, with a focus on diversification, risk management, and achieving financial objectives.
3. Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, analyzing financial statements, market trends, and risk factors to inform investment decisions.
4. Portfolio Optimization: Continuously monitor and assess the performance of existing investments, making recommendations for portfolio adjustments as needed to optimize returns.
5. Corporate Development: Identify and evaluate strategic business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions that align with the family's objectives and growth plans.
6. Risk Management: Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the family's wealth and investments, including the development of contingency plans.
7. Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports and presentations for the family leadership team, providing updates on investment performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
8. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with external partners, advisors, and industry experts to stay informed about market developments and potential investment opportunities.
9. Financial Planning: Work closely with the family's financial advisors to align investment strategies with the family's broader financial goals and estate planning.
10. Team Leadership: Manage a team of professionals responsible for various aspects of investment management and corporate development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• Proven experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity PLUS corporate strategy, investments, and portfolio management OR another Family Office.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and managing risks.
• Experience in family office settings or closely held businesses is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and confidentially with high-net-worth individuals and family leadership.
