Senior Angular Frontend Developer (7–10+ Years Experience) Location: 100% Remote — U.S.-Based & U.S. Time Zones Only Commitment: Part-Time (20+ hours/week as needed) Engagement: Independent Contractor (1099) — Direct Hire (No Agencies) Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen Required About the Role We are seeking a Senior Angular Frontend Developer with 7–10+ years of deep, hands-on Angular experience to help design, build, and maintain complex, high-performance web applications. This is not a junior or generalist front-end role. We are specifically looking for someone who has spent years working in Angular at scale, understands frontend architecture, and can confidently collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential. You will be expected to clearly explain technical decisions, provide regular updates, and participate actively in Scrum ceremonies. Key Responsibilities • Lead development of complex Angular (v8+) applications • Architect scalable, maintainable frontend solutions • Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, performant Angular components • Collaborate closely with backend developers (.NET / APIs) • Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness • Provide clear documentation and technical guidance • Participate in twice-weekly Scrum calls and async updates via our PM tools • Support an on-call, flexible workload as project needs fluctuate Required Experience & Skills Angular Expertise (Critical Requirement): • 7–10+ years of professional Angular experience (Angular 2+) • Expert knowledge of Angular architecture, modules, services, dependency injection, RxJS, and state management • Proven experience building and maintaining large, production Angular applications Core Frontend Skills: • HTML5, CSS3, Sass/SCSS • JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript (advanced) • Responsive and accessible UI development Frameworks & Tools: • Angular (expert level) • CSS frameworks: Bootstrap, Tailwind, Angular Material • Git / GitHub (advanced workflows) • RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI • Docker (containerized frontend environments) Backend & Integration (Working Knowledge Required): • ASP.NET Views (4+) / C# • JSON, API integration patterns Nice-to-Have (Not Primary Focus) • Ruby on Rails exposure • AWS experience • MySQL • Prior experience modernizing or refactoring legacy AngularJS apps Communication & Professional Expectations • Excellent spoken and written English • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Strong communication habits • Collaborative, team-first mindset • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Additional Requirements • U.S. Citizenship (Required) • Reliable high-speed internet • Availability to commit 20+ hours per week when required • Willingness to complete a technical skills assessment Important Notes • No agencies.
