As a key member of our Sr. Management team, you will play a lead role in ensuring the company's financial controls are robust, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements. As a Senior Analyst SOX BP, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and subsidiary businesses to identify and mitigate risks, implement effective controls, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead SOX Scoping and Risk Assessment : Supervise and/or lead the annual and quarterly SOX scoping exercises to identify material business units, legal entities, and accounts (20% of the time). Partner with Auditors and Control Owners : Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors during the annual testing process, providing guidance on testing exceptions, remediation plans, and execution (10% of the time). Quarterly Sub-Certification Process : Manage the quarterly sub-certification process, ensuring control owners are informed and compliant (20% of the time). Account Reconciliation Compliance : Maintain and update the Account Reconciliation Compliance policy, provide user training, and lead the review process for SOX, non-SOX, and surprise account reconciliations (20% of the time). SAP Segregation of Duty Conflicts and IT Change Requests : Approve mitigation strategies for SAP Segregation of duty conflicts and supervise the quarterly Role Owner certification process (10% of the time). Lead the review and approval processes for IT Change Requests (20% of the time). Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance. A minimum of 4 years of work experience, preferably in audit or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. The ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred qualifications include: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Big 4 audit experience or exposure to financial systems.
