About the Credit & Fraud Risk Finance Team

The Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team at arenaflex is responsible for delivering fact-based, decision-driven, and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk-related insights. Our mission is to power prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance, controls, and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst in Credit & Fraud Risk Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's financial planning and risk management objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Loss Provision Forecasting & Results Analysis: Support the forecasting and analysis of Net Loss Provision for our International Card portfolios, working closely with Chief Credit Officers across various regions to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.
Senior Leadership Communication: Develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management, effectively communicating complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Model Development & Enhancement: Provide thought leadership in the development and enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models, as well as strategic business analytics initiatives that drive improved decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally on projects across the Risk Finance organization to help arenaflex meet its long-term growth targets and strategic objectives.
Financial Planning Support: Assist in building financial forecasts for Net Loss Provision that inform funding decisions and resource allocation across the enterprise.
Performance Reporting: Communicate monthly results and highlight key drivers of change to enable better long-term planning and strategic decision-making.
Business Partnership: Support local Finance teams, Risk Management, and Marketing teams with all aspects of Loss Provision, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.


Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:


Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Analytical Experience: Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large volumes of data, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel modeling skills with a high degree of scalability; proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
Database & Programming: Proficiency in SQL and Hive/Yellow Brick is required; experience with Python is strongly preferred.
Visualization Tools: Experience with TM1, Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools is strongly preferred.
Industry Experience: Previous card or risk management experience and/or 1+ years of work experience in a related field is preferred.

Base Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually (commensurate with experience) plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
