As the Dow Janes Senior Affiliate Marketing Specialist, your primary responsibilities are to build, maintain and scale partnerships for customer acquisition and engagement. This is a role where you will be responsible for leading the build of our affiliate channel, responsible for establishing new partnerships, launching and managing campaigns and measuring the performance of affiliates.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguity. They are energized towards their goals, with great communication skills and a passion for our mission at Dow Janes to bring more wealth into the hands of women+.
What you’ll do:
• Establish the Affiliate Marketing channel at Dow Janes - identify KPIs, tools, and best practices for us - build everything from scratch
• Build relationships with affiliate partners - including identifying potential partners, reaching out and introducing them to Dow Janes, and negotiating and managing agreements
• Manage affiliate network
• Work with partners to execute user acquisition campaigns and promotions for the channel, working cross-functionally with the remainder of the marketing team
• Work with internal teams to integrate partner offers into the customer experience to drive revenue and engagement
• Monitor and report on the performance of the channel against our goals, identifying opportunities for continued growth
• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging strategies.
• Take our affiliate marketing revenue from $0 to $2M in 12 months, and to $4M in 18 months
Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience in partner or affiliate management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, passionate about achieving results and making a significant impact.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial - you are energized by getting to build your own revenue generating arm of the business from scratch
• Proficient in data analysis with a talent for interpreting and communicating data to measure outcomes and inform strategic decisions.
• Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and managing shifting priorities.
• You have a proven track record of scaling Affiliate programs
• You have a deep understanding of Social Media platforms and are familiar with the Content Creator landscape
• You’ve led $2m+ in annual revenue from Affiliate channels
