Senior Acquisition Program Manager (remote) with Security Clearance

This is a remote opportunity; with the ability to support occasional Government travel. Koniag Professional Services (KPS) currently has an opening for a Senior Acquisition Program Manager for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officers (CDAO) Acquisition and Assurance Office. The successful candidate will support the Government Client with the establishment and management of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) at the DoD Acquisition Category Level 1 (ACAT I). The successful candidate will support the planning, technical management, oversight, governance, and execution of this program. The candidate will support assessments and provide recommendations to Government personnel guiding the acquisition and execution of capabilities portfolio management. The candidate will also perform requirements planning, support requirements package development, produce schedules, roadmaps, and reports, and critically analyze data, and develop and maintain business process rules. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Leads activities in support of the establishment and management of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) and Program of Record at the DoD Acquisition Category Level 1 (ACAT I). Supports acquisition planning efforts and acquisition strategy development to procure services or desired capabilities with goals to improve procurement and contract acquisition lead times, on-time award rates, achieve quality requirements documentation, improve performance, and drive efficiencies for acquisitions. Designs and updates schedules and product roadmaps. Defines test and evaluation criteria, measures of effectiveness, and threshold/objectives for assessing capability maturity and delivery against cost, schedule, and performance. Leads data collection and analysis to be able to provide leadership insight to upcoming contract competitive actions, exercising contract options for existing contract vehicles, and provide details or roll-up statistics per congressional requests. Leads the CDAO Acquisition and Assurance Office in performing gap analysis, analysis of cost schedule and performance drivers and a roadmap for the acquisition portfolio review, plan and document the entire acquisition portfolio lifecycle. This should include supporting engineering studies to assess the readiness of the technology, evaluating risk factors including technical maturity, reliability, and suitability.
