Position Overview: Senior Accountant As a Senior Accountant at Pro-Vac, you will be responsible for leading our accounting team, overseeing financial procedures, and driving growth through strategic financial planning. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and leadership will be essential in empowering your team and making informed business decisions. We're looking for a dynamic team leader who is vigorous, sharp, and motivated to take on new challenges. Key Responsibilities: Manage various areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations. Reconcile Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable to the General Ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Oversee and have extensive knowledge of each accounting team's roles, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with external auditors, training staff processes to match audit requirements and ensuring seamless audits. Implement accounting processes and streamline existing work processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue, driving financial growth and strategic planning. Communicate financial strategies and insights to company executives, influencing business decisions. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience, with a focus on leadership and team management. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial planning. Proficiency in accounting software, including Intacct by Sage, Service Titan, and Paylocity. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to empower and motivate team members. Preferred Qualifications: CPA, CFA, or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field. Experience with SAP/Concur and Sage 100/300. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
