Senior Accountant – Regulated Fintech
Mamo is seeking a highly disciplined and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the integrity of our books in a regulated, high-volume payments environment. As a key player in our fast-growing environment, you will be at the forefront of driving accurate financial records, managing internal controls, and contributing to the overall success of our innovative business.

What you'll do
Month-end close ownership
Lead the month-end close process end-to-endPrepare and review all key balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare revenue and cost of revenue accrualsMaintain fixed assets, prepayments, and payroll journals
Client money and settlement integrity
Daily reconciliation of client money balancesMonitor settlement cycles across our strategic partnersMaintain settlement tracker and documentation
Regulatory & Audit support
Support DFSA prudential reporting schedulesPrepare VAT and corporate tax reconciliationsOwn the audit PBC process and documentation
Process rigor and documentation
Lead finance process optimisation and automation effortsDrive improvements in reconciliations, reporting, and settlement controls
What we're looking for
Professional qualification CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent.Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, accounting practice and/or in technology companies with a focus on regulated environment, reconciliations and settlement flows.Experience in fintech, payments, or high-volume transaction environments.Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for data.Strong written and oral communication skills in English.Highly organized with a commitment to continuous process improvement.Ability to manage a diverse workload while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Experience with QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting platforms.
