Senior Accountant - Fort Worth, TX

OverviewSenior Property Accountant at Olympus Property in Fort Worth. This position is responsible for full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of multifamily properties, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires the ability to work onsite in our Corporate Home Office located in Downtown Fort Worth. Your Purpose & General Responsibilities • Embody the Olympus Property Core Values: • Customer Care • Teamwork • Trust • Family • Fun • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for assigned multifamily properties.• Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Prepare cashflow analysis and distribution recommendations. • Analyze and explain income statement and balance sheet variances. • Partner with property management teams to ensure financial accuracy and provide accounting guidance. • Participate in the accounting transition for acquisitions, management transitions, and dispositions. • Assist with annual audits, budgets, and other assigned projects.• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 3–5 years of property accounting experience (multifamily preferred). • Strong understanding of GAAP and property management accounting principles. • Advanced Excel skills. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred REIT accounting experience or reporting within a real estate investment trust.
