Job Summary
As a Senior Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 10 strategic clients in the Mid-Atlantic United States. Your mission will be to deepen relationships, drive growth, and optimize programs to reduce costs and drive efficiencies. You will serve as a payments expert, providing policy expertise, benchmarking, and recommendations to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and optimize client programs
Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, collaborating with internal resources to drive spend expansion
Lead proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations for client renewals and expansions
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and cross-functional teams within client organizations
Influence and innovate to overcome complex client barriers and resolve escalated issues
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of strategic relationship management and/or sales experience
Proven track record of driving growth and optimizing client programs
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to establish relationships at C-levels and within cross-functional areas
Entrepreneurial approach to portfolio management, with ability to identify opportunities and manage through the sales process
Experience working in a virtual environment and ability to work flexibly
What We Offer
Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $155,000 annually + bonus + benefits
