Project Overview

Looking for senior 3D product animator to produce a cinematic, factory-accurate animation of a custom zinc alloy marathon medal with enamel detailing

This project is part of official marketing, and archival brand assets. The work must reflect material truth, restraint, and craftsmanship not stylised or AI-generated effects.

Scope of Work
• Develop a high-fidelity 3D product animation (approximately 10–15 seconds)
• Faithfully represent:
• Zinc alloy metal (brushed / satin / polished finishes)
• Enamel fill with correct depth, gloss, and edge definition
• Fine relief, bevels, and surface transitions
• Animation direction:
• Controlled, slow rotation
• Subtle camera movement
• Refined light sweeps that reveal form without exaggeration
• Optional:
• Ribbon detailing and soft secondary motion
• Detail close-ups for key design elements

Deliverables
• Master video file (MP4 or MOV)
• Vertical (1080×1920) for social and digital
• Horizontal (1920×1080 or 4K) for presentations
• Optional add-ons:
• Transparent background render
• Seamless loop for web use

Experience & Tools

This role is intended for senior-level artists

Expected proficiency:
• Blender or Cinema 4D with Redshift / Octane
• PBR workflows and studio lighting
• Realistic metal and enamel material creation
• Product-grade rendering (jewellery, trophies, hardware, or luxury goods)

Experience with manufactured objects is strongly preferred.
