Seeking Video Editor Just Starting Out On Upwork
We are doing a test scene so that we can see how things work out. There will be a number of revisions while doing the scene. The purpose of the test scene is to see if we both are comfortable working together and feel that we can accomplish the tasks in a reasonable time frame.
Below is a description of the second part of the job if we decide to move forward.
We are seeking someone just embarking on a video editing career. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated to advance his or her editing career by gaining experience, credits, and reviews.
We are a non-profit, www.hospitalwatchdog.org. As medical errors are the third leading cause of death in the U.S., our mission focuses on improving patient safety by exposing dangerous conditions in hospitals. If you visit our website, you can view a documentary that we just released: Conduct Unbecoming Administrators At Vanderbilt University Hospital.
This assignment is for a 2-month period. Our new video will focus on a human experiment conducted without informed consent. The experiment resulted in serious harm including a death to the human subjects. The number of hours, though flexible, will be approximately 10 hours a week. Written instructions will be provided for revisions of scenes along with zoom calls when appropriate. As we are a non-profit the compensation is quite limited. It will be $50 per month or $100 total. This work can be done at any time of day or night on any days during the week.
